Build a 12 Ton Hydraulic Shop Press with these plans. Make an economical, yet fully functional press designed for automotive and general shop work. Ideal for the removal or installation of gears, bearings, universal joints, bushings, pulleys, flywheels, wrist pins, and bending, bonding, stamping or straightening applications. Great for rebuilding engines. An invaluable asset to any shop that works on cars, trucks, metal or machinery!

Features:  Uses any standard 12 ton hydraulic bottle jack capable of applying about 24,000 pounds of force. Heavy duty steel frame easily made using standard metal shapes (sq. tube, angle, plate, etc.). Multi-position bed allows for the best working distance possible (5 positions). Steel cross brace prevents spreading of frame under load. Springs on ram carriage automatically retract the ram after pressure is released to help speed up your work.
