3pt Log Splitter Plans
$11.95

Build your own log splitter for your tractor! These detailed plans will show you how to construct a hydraulic log splitter that is connected to your tractor's 3pt hitch and powered by your tractors hydraulics. Eliminating the need for the gas engine, hydraulic pump, fluid tank and wheel assembly.

Features: Split up to 24in. long logs. 8in. splitting wedge. Will fit Cat. I and II tractors. Rated at 20 tons. Tractor should be at least 15 HP.

Size: Aprox. 6ft long by 33in. wide (to ends of pins) by 24in. high (to top of 3pt frame).

Plans Include: Includes step by step instructions, detailed CAD drawings, 3D drawings, supplier/parts info and hydraulic schematic.

Skill Level: Requires basic to moderate mechanical ability and moderate welding skills.

Some Notes: 1. Not all tractors have aux. hydraulics (check your owners manual or tractor dealer). 2. This does NOT hook up to a PTO (power take off). Although some manufacturers call a tractor's hydr. system a "PTO", a true PTO is a mechanical (drive-shaft type) connection. Again, check with your dealer.
